Mobility as a Service: code of practice

Today the Department for Transport has published its mobility as a service code of practice for for app developers and companies aims to ensure they offer more streamlined and joined up journeys for travellers and commuters while ensuring the technology is accessible to all.

The guidance encourages app platform providers to consider accessibility and user needs when suggesting routes, which could include outlining wheelchair-accessible routes and stations and providing step-free options for all journeys and consider that there may need to be differences for rural areas.
