The current data profile for supplying data to BODS supports standard bus services. There are an increasing number of flexible bus services operating and providing sometimes the only public transport provision in an area.

Bus Open Data – Timetable Versioning
The Bus Open Data Service (BODS) has been successful in attracting a wide range of data consumers to explore the timetable data available. Following conversations with some of these data consumers it was identified that there needed to be some additional advice and support on how to understand different versions of timetables that have been provided to BODS.

TransXChange PTI Profile v1.1.A Webinar Recording
The latest TransXChange v2.4 Public Transport Information profile has been released.
The current version is now 1.1.A, updated from v 1.1 on 5 July 2021.
Version 1.1.A is the version that the Bus Open Data Service will be using.
The v1.1.A is an update to v1.1, the changes largely being updates to fix implementation issues and inclusion of information on the BODS validator.
